I am a strong believer of making new years resolutions and keeping to them. I believe that the new year is a new chance to start fresh whether that be doing something new or committing to not doing something.
1.Stay in touch with friends from home Since finishing secondary school, i have realized that a lot of people from my old friendship group never talk any more. Its just so weird to think that we were all best friends a few years ago and then within a few months you dont speak. So now i have started University, although i have a small handful of good friends back at home. I insist that I will always make time for them, even though I'm not living home, I will always speak to them and catch up when im actually home. Even though I have made more friends up in University, the friends I have back at home are friends from when i was a young child and i hope to keep them!
2.ALWAYS go to lectures I am a self-admitted lazy person. I have a very weird body clock as it is and I am a genuine night owl. Its surprising if i go to bed and sleep before 11pm. I have tried a lot of things to try and get me to relax to get ready for bed early, such as a hot, relaxing bubble bath, even reading a book. But my mind is just so active at night, so this means.. i am NOT a morning person. I hate mornings! I can be left in bed till gone midday and i will still not move. So this means i struggle a lot to get up for early morning lectures, I will admit I have missed a few already. But now this year, this is why I had to make a resolution, and try to stick to it!! If i was motivated enough to do exercise, my 3rd and final resolution would be to go to the gym , but as it doesn't interest me , I wont jump on the band wagon.
Happy New Year!
